Cool Tips for the Sound of Your Voice

Hello Everybody,

Besides our weekly speech tip video above, here are some Cool Tips for the Sound of Your Voice at a Meeting.

  • How you sound accounts for 38% of the impression you make.  How you sound depends more on volume and inflection than the quality of your voice.
  • Kevin Daley, who trained more than 450,000 executives, reported that almost all didn’t speak with enough volume.  Speakers think they are loud, but audiences don’t.  They think speakers are boring.  They want more excitement, and volume is a big part of that.
  • On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being bell ringing loud, be a six.  Take a leap of faith, and let your voice ring out.  You’ll find that your body will follow, and your confidence will soar.
